August - Temperature 16.1
Joanne reminded us that the weather in Ireland is wet every year!? I could have sworn it was always sunny. The air is warm, the sea has been pretty wild and F & O tied the knot..... with dryrobe bridesmaids no less. There were less jellyfish and I managed to pull my shoulder whilst swimming in waves. The pain!? Oh, and I signed up to do a 750 swim in September. Even though I know I can do it the thought of it is still making me feel ill. Mind you, looking back at photos there were some lovely mornings. In the the one where I'm lying there, admiring my newly painted toes, a man had just shouted out 'Are you alright?' (I was the only one in the sea at 5.30 in the morning). I replied 'I'm grand, husband snores ... couldn't sleep' He laughed and continued on his walk.
