May - Sea Temp 11.2
Talk about a shite weather month. Ugh, swimming after heavy rain is grim. Your swim gear stinks. Started in Donabate and ended in Curracloe in Wexford. Absolutely glorious. Last month I made it to the first buoy, this month I managed to swim all four. 680m!! Not bad, eh? Also did Darkness into Light swim with the legends I call my friends. It was pissing down, like, everything was soaked before we even looked at the water. No hanging around afterwards to celebrate Sharon's birthday .. everyone legged it 'cos RAIN.
