Northside Seaside

 I've started swimming swimming, if you know what I mean.   So, last month I swam 1km, then I made it to 1.5km at the start of this month .... now I've hit a mile!!!  1700m to be precise.  I'm loving it.   But I've noticed that I take less photos when I am doing the buoys than when I'm just having a bob about.   The weather was glorious and, as I was working in an office during the hottest week of the year, I went sunrise dipping with Clodagh most mornings. Who knew that I could willingly (happily) get up at 5am.   Himself and myself went to Cork for a weekend and ended up in the gorgeous, clear blue waters of Barley Cove South Beach.  Wow.  Talk about a shite weather month.  Ugh, swimming after heavy rain is grim.  Your swim gear stinks. Started in Donabate and ended in Curracloe in Wexford.  Absolutely glorious.  Last month I made it to the first buoy, this month I managed to swim all four.  680m!!  Not bad, eh? Also did Darkness into Light swim with the legends I call my friends.  It was pissing down, like, everything was soaked before we even looked at the water.  No hanging around afterwards to celebrate Sharon's birthday .. everyone legged it 'cos RAIN.
