The month of storms and sea monsters. Don't think I ever considered what swims with us when we're swimming. Who knew that sea mice existed? Certainly not me until the week of the storms. Beach changed shape and it was still baltic. Oh, and I whacked my shagging hand off a rock when trying to get dressed after a 3, yes 3!!, minute dip with AM & J. The wind was so wild I couldn't get dressed. Clothes were doing their best to blow away. This meant I walked up the beach in boots, towel poncho, coat and bloood running down my arm. State of me. Again.
